How to Fix MSVCR90.dll Errors

I just installed a software for many times, however, I always get a pop-up error "Cannot start [APPLICATION]. A required component is missing: MSVCR90.dll. Please install [APPLICATION] again." I've tried to figure it out on my own. Nothing happened. One problem is I'm not sure if I have done the right thing to fix this error. Can anyone offer some help?
