How to Fix MSVCR100.dll Missing Errors

I have tried to install a software for many times, however, I always get a pop-up error "Cannot find [PATH]\MSVCR100.dll" I've tried to download the MSVCR100.dll file by myself. It didn't work! I don't know if I have done the right thing. Can anyone offer some help?
