Questions:Hello, I am having a small issue with Windows update. Windows 7 Home Premium, 64BIT OEM on HP Pavilion.

Window Update failing error code 800736B3

I have followed the SFC, update readiness, and clean boot procedures listed in the thread I linked above. I believe I have a SIMILAR issue (not the same).

Can anyone give me a light in the proper direction?

SFC found nothing, readiness tool ran and installed hotfix but did not fix issue. I also tried to install updates 1 at a time, to not avail, as well as the clean boot.
